So This Is A Thing...
That was the only thing that ran through Cry's head as he scanned the scene before him. He set a steady pace of walking as he examined the entire facility. There were people everywhere; talking, yelling, walking, or what they were really there to do- play video games. Now he was definitely glad he decided to accept the invite to one of the best gaming expos in the history of gaming expos. Though he felt he didn't deserve it, they sure wanted him to feel like he did. Of course, Cry wasn't one to be rude. Despite all of that he couldn't hide the childish flurries happening in his mind as he looked around.
The first booth he saw was that of the new Assassin's Creed. Without hesitation he approached it, immediately granted access to a controller and headset. He immersed himself in the game and slowly became one with the blade. For a little while Cry was oblivious to the whispers behind him as he played. As soon as the demo ended, though, he caught it. Quickly snapping his attention to the group he hoped they had not discovered who he was. When he overheard one say something along the lines of 'Now that's how you play the game.' He simply smiled and hurried off to the next booth that caught his eye.
Immediately upon seeing it, he recognized the symbolic design of Amnesia. He was already antsy for the release of A Machine for Pigs but now he found himself pushing through the crowd with a little more force. Just before he reached it though he heard someone scream. It was video game induced but the sound made him stop in his tracks. He knew that voice; he knew it well. Hurriedly he rounded the corner to see a tallish blonde man with a headset on and a keyboard at his fingertips. The man was talking loudly as if, to him, it was normal. Cry smiled as he stood there watching with his arms crossed, patiently waiting for the demo to end. When it did the man stood and began to walk past him but Cry called to him.
"PewDiePie?" He froze, looking Cry up and down with a huge grin.
"Yeah. Are you a bro?"
"Every day." He couldn't resist saying it but it seemed like the Swede overlooked his subtle joke.
"Awesome! What's your name?"
"Awe come on, Pewds. Don't do me like that." Immediately his eyes lit up as he recognized the voice.
"Cry?!" He quickly shushed Felix and searched the area for anyone that might have overheard. Then he nodded. Felix said a jumbled mess of things that he couldn't really catch then he hugged Cry tightly. As they parted they both asked each other the same question.
"What are you doing here?"
"They invited me. Thought I'd give them a chance since they were paying for travel." Cry answered first.
"Yeah! They paid for my flight out here too."
"So you like it here in California huh?" He nodded confidently, then his expression changed as if to ask if Cry had been here before. "Yeah, I've travelled here a time or two for vacations. It's nice and I got to know a lot of the good places."
"Well how about we visit some after a while?"
"You got a deal."
Cry could have mentioned that his vacations were college breaks and a lot of the places happened to be bars… but he didn't. When it was all said and done, they'd caught a ride from a taxi back to their hotel. They stumbled over to the elevator and somehow made it to Cry's room. He, being the less intoxicated of the duo, insisted on Felix staying with him so he could be watched. With the drunken Swede half awake on the couch, Cry allowed himself to flop onto his bed and finally relax. He was on the verge of unconsciousness when he felt the bed sink under newly added weight just at the foot of the mattress. By the time Cry got his eyes to focus he was staring straight into sparkling pools of blue.
"Dude, what the hell're you doin'?"
"I dun wanna sleep out there by m'self." Felix lowered his body to where he was mostly laying on top of the blushing American. Cry couldn't get anything more than confused stutters out of his mouth so he settled on staying quiet and letting Felix cuddle his head into the crook of his neck. Nervous tingles shot through Cry's stomach as he felt the Swede gently kiss his skin there.
"F-Felix?" Instead of a word answer, he opted for humming his question. That left Cry speechless just by the fact of how damned cute he sounded when he was tired. Wait, what the hell was he thinking?! He didn't really have time to think about it. A hand was gently sliding Cry's shirt up and in doing so it sparked so many feelings within the little American's mind. Just as he was about to voice something Felix started in again with the soft kisses, making his train of thought temporarily derail.
"Felix, what are you doing?" His voice almost sounded like a whine and he inwardly cursed himself for that.
"C'mon, Cry. Dun tell me you dun li'e it."
"Alright, I think that's about enough of that, friend." Cry couldn't help but laugh at his friend trying to be seductive whilst drunk. As he began to shift away from Felix he noticed the pout in the Swede's features.
Oh come on. His thoughts persuaded him. He won't even remember by tomorrow. At least give him something. Maybe he'll fall asleep easier.
Cautiously he slid out from under the other, making Felix believe he was getting up. Of course the drunken one latched on to Cry's arm. The American smiled as he spun on the other, quickly maneuvering to straddle him and pin him down. Now it was Felix's turn to blush like crazy. Still smiling, Cry lowered himself down to kiss Felix with gentleness. After a few seconds the Swede wrapped his arms around Cry's neck and pulled him closer, intensifying the kiss. Eventually the two broke apart from lack of oxygen. Somewhere within the time it took for Cry's breathing to regulate again he noticed Felix had dozed off. The American chuckled to himself as he allowed the other to snuggle into his side and he too fell asleep.
Cry woke the next morning in the bed alone with the thought that everything last night was simply a dream. Then something clanged loudly in the other room. Hurriedly, Cry flung himself out of bed to see Felix picking up a TV remote off the ground. As soon as he noticed Cry he waved with a big smile then pat the seat next to him as if to say 'come sit and watch with me.' Cry ran a hand through his shaggy brunette mess of hair as he plopped down next to his friend.
"You really are quite attractive." He felt his cheeks light up at that and hoped the blonde next to him wasn't aware. "And you know what else?"
Cry couldn't trust his voice at this point so he just shook his head indicating he didn't know.
"You're a really good kisser too." The Swede burst into laughter as he caught sight of Cry's eyes widening in fear and his cheeks burning even redder with embarrassment. Again, the only things out of his mouth were nervous ramblings which were quickly put to a halt by Felix's lips on his. They both smiled into the kiss as the rest of the world and whatever consequences they might eventually have to face were ignored.
